CHOC Walk
CHOC Walk
October 17, 2010

Join Team Kiwanis in a walk around Disneyland park during the 20th annual CHOC/Disneyland® Resort Walk in the Park. All proceeds will benefit CHOC and CHOC at Mission.

Every year CHOC & The Disneyland Resort combine efforts to put on the anual Walk In the Park. Participants take a walk through Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks. Disney employees line the streets cheering the participants on. Walkers are treated to a true Disney celebration as they break the tape at the finish line in Downtown Disney. Walker teams line the street cheering on those finishing after them. This is one fundraiser you don't want to miss. All proceeds go to Children's Hospital of Orange County.

Kiwanis is putting together a team of walkers for this event. This is open to all Kiwanians and Sponsored programs. (K Kids, Builders, Key, KIWINS, & Action clubs). The minimum donation to walk is $50. Team Kiwnis' goal is to have the largest number of walkers with each walker raising a minimum of $100. To register click on the link below. Make sure you select Kiwanis Family for CHOC from the team list.

To register:

Go to www.chocwalk.net & sign up under Teams. Make sure you choose "Kiwanis Family" as your team. You will need a credit card to register on-line.

Craft Nights

Each Radio Lollipop broadcast has a craft time, they need craft packets for about 120 children. Craft nights are set up to organize and pre-setup the craft packets for Radio Lollipop. Many Key Club members from the local clubs come and help. They pre-cut shapes and bag all the things needed for each project. Craft nights are scheduled as needed. Watch the calendar for the next scheduled event and come enjoy the fun.

Radio Lollipop Is Now Broadcasting!

Radio Lollipop officially launched Monday September 25, 2007. Ryan Seacrest helped with the launch. Radio Lollipop broadcasts every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday evenings throughout CHOC hospital. About 20 volunteers are needed each night, but currently working with 15.
